Merrie Cole, our office manager, has been serving customers at Gorman Property Management since 2003.

She is a naturally happy person who enjoys meeting new people and using her creativity to find solutions to issues that may arise at any of our properties.

Our residents and owners know they can count on Merrie for excellence in resolving any issue or to answer any questions.

Merrie has extensive experience in property management and was involved in project management and marketing before she became a valued member of the Gorman Property Management team.

Karen Thomas, a California native and has lived on the Central Coast for 15 years.

She has extensive experience in both property management and project management and has been in the customer service industry for over 30 years.

Karen has a warm personality and enjoys greeting our residents and clients whenever they reach out to us.

She takes great pride in providing excellent customer service to our clients and residents, and she enjoys coordinating maintenance projects with our vendors to make sure everything goes smoothly at our properties.

Steve Gorman has been managing property on the Monterey Peninsula since 1978.

Although Steve has many years of service to clients, he plans to keep his business small to provide a high level of service and to maintain quality control.

Continuing Education - Steve keeps himself current on significant trends and legislation in the real estate industry by attending comprehensive seminars on real estate law, financing, marketing, negotiation, taxation, appraisal and investment analysis.



Steve is actively involved in his community, and was honored by the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce by being selected as the Pacific Grove "Citizen of the Year".

Steve has served as President of the Monterey County Association of REALTORS®, President of the Pacific Grove Rotary Club, City of Pacific Grove Architectural Design Review Committee and other city committees, Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee of the Monterey County Association of REALTORS®, President of the Monterey Peninsula Toastmasters Club, and board member of the Monterey Federal Credit Union.

Steve is a retired reserve police officer with the Pacific Grove Police Department who, along with the 3 other reserve officers, was honored as the City of Pacific Grove Employee of the Year.

Steve has been very active in programs that benefit youth and has been honored by the Pacific Grove Unified School District and PG PRIDE for his activities in support of youth.
